Described as “James Brown meets Paco De Lucía”, Jonjan combines the athletic skill of Flamenco percussive techniques with emotive, highly dynamic and groove-based Funk playing on solo acoustic guitar – creating an atmosphere that gets people moving and pushes an audience’s expectation of what a solo guitar can do in the right hands.

Born in Istanbul with British/Turkish heritage, and having performed to George Benson, for the BBC, having had the honour of performing in Jimi Hendrix’s former London Mayfair apartment twice, playing for Apple, Google, SAP, Deloitte, John Lewis, Westminster Abbey, Selfridges, and hosting masterclass sessions for Yamaha to name just a few highlights – Jonjan is at home on any stage – be that a bustling street, luxury rooftop, or major festival.
